Welcome to Shadow Farms Boer Goats
Located near Waxahachie, Texas, we are just a short drive south of the DFW metroplex.
We are a small farm of about 40 goats now, with a nice mixture of fullblood, American purebred, and percentage boers used here at our farm.
All are registered with the American Boer Goat Association.
Here at Shadow Farms Boer Goats, we strive for high quality breeding stock with continual improvement annually.
Being a small farm allows us to have more individualized care and identify any issues that may arise while raising boer goats.
Our herd contains some show quality animals, and many of our wethers end up with youngsters showing in the junior livestock shows.
Our does are proven animals that typically have multiples (twins or triplets) and are good moms. It is important that they take care of their kids, unless you like taking care of bottle babies.
Our kids are muscular with strong legs and gain weight rapidly.
Our goats are healthy and well cared for, they are vaccinated and wormed on schedule or as needed.
Our prices are reasonable. They are neither "sale barn" cheap nor in the thousands of dollars range.
